Costume designer John Glaser is responsible for season 3's looks and explained his inspiration in a recent interview with Vogue.

"This season, because of the story we’re telling, we thought, Let’s make it softer." he shared. "It’s more textural, a little more blurry. We layered fabrics," Glaser added. From season one, the costume designers have had a vision for clothing that is "beautiful, aspirational, and absolutely appealing to a modern audience," according to Ellen Mirojnick, season one's lead designer. That may be why it's so easy to take style cues from the looks and wear them today.
